Camp Setting
The Camp Setting
We are an outdoor/indoor daycare and boarding facility on 5 acres in east Vancouver. Our property is perimeter fenced and cross-fenced so that dogs may play and run off lead. Our Barn is a 2400 sq ft pole building that is fully insulated and climate controlled ( heat and A/C).
Dogs mostly just eat and sleep in the barn but we also use it for play during very cold/wet and very hot days. We also have a 1200 sq ft covered out door play pavilion that allows us to have the dogs out during rainy days while minimizing the mud.
We have lots of trees and lots of room for dogs to run and play. Being outside also allows the dogs to find their own space. There is plenty of room for those who like to explore on their own and those who just prefer to not have others in their face.
Having multiple fields allows us to separate dogs into playgroups according to play style, energy level, size and mood. We have small pools and sprinklers for water play, logs for climbing and jumping, sticks for chewing.
We are outside most of the day every day, rain or shine and even in the snow.
