All dogs that board and play here are interviewed ahead of time and must come for at least one day of daycare prior to an overnight stay. Some dogs will need 2 or more days of daycare to become settled and work out any issues or concerns we might have. We do this to help ensure the dogs that stay here are well mannered and suited for this type of environment.
We ask that dogs who are new to your family wait at least 15 days prior to attending daycare/boarding to let them get settled and guard against any illness that may be incubating.
We abide by the recommendation and vaccination protocols set forth by your personal licensed veterinarian*
- Puppies must show proof of 1 round of vaccinations after 11 weeks of age and then wait 2 weeks prior to their first daycare day.
- By one year of age your dog is required to show proof of rabies vaccination.
- Dogs whose health may be adversely affected by vaccinations must provide a “certificate of health and contraindications to vaccination” statement signed their veterinarian.
- We also accept Titer Test Results as proof of your dog’s immunity.
- Additionally, because it can take up to 2 weeks to build immunity from a vaccine we ask that vaccination are given at least 2 weeks prior or 1 week after an overnight stay.
*Vaccination efficacy, schedules, and risks are under study and change, and many veterinarians are adjusting their recommendations accordingly. For this reason, we do not dictate exactly what or how many vaccinations your pet must have prior to boarding/daycare. We feel this decision is best left to you and your personal veterinarian.
*We can, on a case-by-case basis, accommodate dogs that are unaltered past 10-12 months depending on the situation. Please call for more information.
